Wheat exports amounted to 1.191 million tons (-43.3%), barley exports reached 124,000 tons, and corn exports were 72,500 tons. The largest buyers of wheat were Egypt 237,800 tons (421,000), UAE 131,300 tons (22,800), Kenya 80,800 tons, Bangladesh 62,300 tons, and Vietnam 57,000 tons.

In 2024, Russia exported 7.29 million tons of vegetable oils (+8% compared to 2023), with a share of 8.5% in global exports (7.5%). Sunseed oil deliveries reached a record 5.46 million tons, including 2.17 million tons to India, 795,000 tons to Turkey, and 574,000 tons to China. Russia's share of global sunseed oil exports is 36%, and 6% for soybean oil, with 691,000 tons exported. The largest buyers of soybean oil were India with 288,000 tons and Algeria with 220,000 tons. The export of rapeseed oil was 1.13 million tons (-30%), with a market share of 15%, and China being the largest buyer with a 90% share. The export of oilseeds was 2.86 million tons (-37%), and of meal 4.02 million tons – unchanged.

According to Safras&Mercado data as of January 17, 2025, 7% of Brazil's first corn crop for 2024/25, covering 3.512 million hectares, has been harvested. A year earlier, 3.7% of the area was harvested (3.972 million hectares), and the average for the last 5 years is 5.5%.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, in November 2024, Australia exported 838,720 tons of barley, including 602,450 tons of feed barley (86,410 tons in October) and 236,270 tons of malting barley (34,220). The largest customers for feed barley were China with 554,220 tons, Peru with 21,290 tons, and Japan with 7,700 tons, while for malting barley, the largest buyers were China with 195,610 tons, Vietnam with 34,710 tons, and Singapore with 3,680 tons.

Egypt's state agency Mostakbal Misr has purchased a batch of Russian wheat for delivery in January. The strategic wheat reserves in Egypt are sufficient to meet domestic consumption for the next 4 months.

Thailand has purchased 195,000 tons of feed wheat from Australia at a price of 259 USD/ton C&F with delivery scheduled for May – July.

Iran is seeking to purchase 120,000 tons of feed corn, 120,000 tons of feed barley, and 60,000 tons of soymeal with delivery in March – April.

Algeria is looking to purchase 240,000 tons of feed corn from Brazil or Argentina with delivery in February.
