According to Brazil's Celeres, the soybean production in Brazil for 2024/25 is expected to be 169.9 million tons, which is a decrease of 17.9 million tons compared to 2023/24.

- During the July-August period, 1.268 million tons of grain were delivered to Egypt from Russia, according to data from the Russian Union of Exporters. This includes 1.244 million tons of wheat imported from Russia. The second-largest buyer of Russian grain is Saudi Arabia with 1.087 million tons, followed by Turkey with 748,000 tons, Iran with 634,000 tons, and Bangladesh with 622,000 tons. The second-largest buyer of Russian wheat is Bangladesh with 622,000 tons, followed by Turkey with 556,000 tons, Israel with 459,000 tons, and Kenya with 405,000 tons.

- The Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture and the country's grain traders have signed an appendix to the Memorandum on grain exports from Ukraine for the 2024/25 season. A maximum export limit of 16.2 million tons of wheat and wheat-rye mixtures has been agreed upon. Market monitoring will be conducted every month, and quantities will be adjusted accordingly.

- According to Brazil's Celeres, the 2024/25 soybean production in Brazil is expected to be 169.9 million tons (-17.9 compared to 2023/24). The corn production is projected to reach 134.1 million tons (+5%).

- The Australian government predicts that the country's wheat production for the 2024/25 season will be 31.8 million tons (+2.7 compared to the previous estimate). The production will be 20% higher than in 2023/24 and significantly above the average level of the last 10 years. Abares forecasts a barley production of 12.2 million tons (+13% compared to 2023/24 and +7% above the 10-year average) and a canola production of 5.5 million tons (-8% and +22%). Three months ago, the forecast for the wheat production was 29.1 million tons, barley production estimate was 11.5 million tons, and canola production forecast was 5.4 million tons. In the new season, wheat exports are expected to be 20.9 million tons (-7% and +10%).

- Chinese authorities plan to launch an anti-dumping investigation into canola imports from Canada, which reached 3.47 billion USD in 2023, and chemical product imports. The investigation is in response to Canada's intention to impose tariffs on electric vehicles, aluminum, and steel imports.

- According to FAS USDA data, Indonesia imported a record 12.6 million tons of wheat in 2023/24 (compared to 9.45 million tons in 2022/23). Australia supplied 4.11 million tons of wheat, while Russia supplied 1.6 million tons.
