- A record 6 million tons of soybeans were harvested in Russia, which is 22.6% more than the previous year. The average yield was 1.89 tons/hectare (1.65).
- In 2022/23, the grain production in Ukraine will reach 51 million tons, and the production of oil crops will be 16 million tons. To date, 9 million hectares of cereal crops (81% of the area) have been harvested with an average yield of 4.34 tons/hectare, and 39.1 million tons of grain have been harvested. Sowing of winter crops has been completed on 94% or 4.4 million hectares.
- Over the July-September period, a record 463,470 tons of wheat were imported into Kazakhstan, which is 2.1 times more than the previous season. Traditionally, Russia is the largest supplier, given the low domestic prices of the crop.
- During the week of November 13-20, rapeseed imports into the EU were 216,500 tons, and since the beginning of the season they totaled 2.8 million tons (+42% compared to last year). 1.9 million tons of rapeseed were delivered from Ukraine, 728,200 tons from Australia and 107,000 tons from Canada. In the last week, the import of sunseed was 77,000 tons (+13,000 compared to the previous week), and since the beginning of the season sunseed imports reach 1.16 million tons (172,700), including 1 million tons from Ukraine.
- In November, 4-6 carloads of corn will be delivered from Brazil to China. These will be the first quantities under the bilateral agreement. If the amount reaches 368,000 tons it will be 6% of the total corn exports for the month.
- According to Oil World data, 2.5 million tons of soybeans were exported from Argentina to China in October (0.3 in October 2021). It is expected that in November - December the export will be higher than in November. Soybean oil exports in October are estimated at 239,000 tons (472,000), including 68,000 tons for India (258,000). Soymeal exports were 2.36 million tons (2.43).
- As of 23.11.2022, Argentine farmers have sold 72.6% of their 2021/22 soybean crop (75.6% a year earlier). During the week of November 10-16, sales were 165,500 tons (641,700). 5.7 million tons of wheat from the 2022/23 crop (42.4%) have been sold of the expected production of 13.4 million tons.
- As of 20.11.2022, 12% of the planned soybean areas were sown in Argentina (28.7% a year earlier).
- According to Turkstat data, 795,500 tons of wheat flour were exported from Turkey over the period of July - September, which is 8% less than the previous year - 866,000 tons. In September alone, exports were 320,800 tons (287,100). The largest buyers are Iraq with 371,000 tons (408,000), Syria with 59,000 tons and Sri Lanka with 50,000 tons.
