Stratégie Grains has increased its forecast for corn production in the EU in 2023/24 by 1 million tons to 60.6 million tons (compared to 52.4 million tons in 2022/23). Soft wheat production is projected to reach 125.6 million tons (+0.6 million tons compared to 125.5 million tons), while barley production is expected to be 47.2 million tons (-0.2 million tons compared to 51.4 million tons).

According to the Rosario Grain Exchange's forecast, wheat production in Argentina for 2023/24 is expected to reach 14.3 million tons (a decrease of 0.7 million tons from the previous estimate and 11.5 million tons). Soybean production is forecasted to be 50 million tons (+30 million tons compared to 2022/23).

Tunisia has announced a tender to purchase 75,000 tons of durum wheat with unspecified origin and delivery in November.
