- According to FEDIOL's forecast, 3.3 million tons of oilseeds will be processed in the EU in May (+5% compared to April and -5% compared to May 2021). In May, 1.4 million tons of soybeans (+19% and +10%), 1.5 million tons of rapeseed (-2% and -16%), 452,000 tons of sunseed (-7% and no change compared to May 2021) will be processed. The workload of processors will reach 89% (86% and 91%).
- Yesterday, commodity funds in Chicago were net buyers of 6,500 corn contracts and net sellers of 9,000 soybean contracts and 4,000 wheat contracts.
