Over the week of September 20-26 , 156,400 tons of wheat were exported from the EU (549,500 tons a week earlier).

- As of September 28, 2021, 40.3 million hectares of cereals were harvested in Russia and 105.4 million tons of grain were harvested. The areas harvested with wheat are 26.3 million hectares, 74.2 million tons of wheat were harvested. Barley was harvested on 7.6 million hectares and 18.1 million tons of barley were harvested. 562,600 hectares have been harvested with corn and 2.6 million tons of corn were harvested. 3 million hectares have been harvested with sunseedand 4.7 million tons of sunseed have been harvested. The sowing of winter crops was carried out on 10.5 million hectares.

- Warm and dry weather creates good conditions for completing the harvesting campaign of spring wheat in Canada, Russia and Kazakhstan without major losses. As of September 28, 2021, 15.5 million hectares of cereals were harvested in Kazakhstan, which is 97.9% of total areas. 15 million tons of grain were harvested, including 11.7 million tons of wheat. Grain quality is the best for the last five years. As of September 27, 2021, 26.1 million hectares of wheat (91%) were harvested in Russia and 73.9 million tons of wheat were harvested. As of September 21, 2021, 94% of spring wheat was harvested in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, 86.5% in Alberta and 97% in Manitoba. In Ukraine, the difference between the prices of milling and feed wheat has grown to 20 USD/ton compared to 1 - 3 USD/ton in previous years. There is a decline in demand for feed wheat.

Since the beginning of the season, wheat exports have reached 6.95 million tons (5.09 years earlier). The main customers were Algeria with 0.9 million tons, South Korea with 0.77 million tons and Egypt with 0.57 million tons. The largest exporters of wheat were Romania with 2.54 million tons, Bulgaria with 1.27 million tons and Germany with 0.74 million tons.

- Under normal weather conditions in 2021/22, the soybean production in Brazil is expected to reach 143.75 million tons, according to local analysts. A shortage of fertilizers can be a problem in reaching this yield.

- According to the assessment of the Ministry of Agriculture of Argentina, farmers have sold 495,300 tons of soybean over the last week and as of September 22, 2021 the total amount reaches 30.5 million tons (32.2 years earlier). The 2020/21 soybean production was 43.1 million tons. The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange expects a 2021/22 soybean production of 44 million tons. Sales of corn from the 2020/21 crop reached about 500,000 tons over the previous week and since the beginning of the season they totaled 40.9 million tons (+3.7 compared to the previous year). The 2020/21 corn production reached 50.5 million tons and the new 2021/22 corn crop is projected at 55 million tons. Wheat sales reached 7 million tons (+0.3 per week).

- Algeria has purchased 500,000 - 550,000 tons of milling wheat at an average price of 364 USD/ton C&F and delivery within October - November and main supplier France.
