The indicator is at its lowest level since 2015/16, when 6.47 million tons of wheat were exported. Over the period, the largest buyer was Brazil with 3.1 million tons.

- In June, wheat exports from Australia to China reached 265,000 tons and over the period of October - June wheat exports totaled 1.68 million tons, which is 22% more than the whole 2019/20. China has already purchased 4-6 vessels of wheat with delivery in July and another 200,000-250,000 tons with delivery in August. In June, 370,000 tons of wheat were exported to Indonesia.

- According to Oil World, 250,000 tons of sunseed were delivered to Turkey in the second quarter of 2021 (335,000 tons in the first quarter and 374,000 tons a year earlier). Imports of sunseed oil reached 175,000 tons (258,000 and 364,000). During the reporting period, the largest supplier of sunseed to Turkey was Bulgaria, followed by Romania.

- Turkey has announced another tender for the purchase of 440,000 tons of feed barley of any origin and delivery over the period of 29.07 - 16.08.2021. The previous tender was held two weeks ago and nearly 400,000 tons of barley were purchased. The drought has significantly reduced the barley production in Turkey and barley imports are increasing.

- Iran has announced a tender for the purchase of 60,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin and delivery within July - September. An unknown amount of milling wheat of any origin was purchased last week.
