- The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has maintained its forecast for the country's grain production in 2024/25 at 132 million tons and exports at 60 million tons.

The soybean production is projected to reach 149 million tons (from 150.8).

- On June 4, 2024, the price of palm oil on the Kuala Lumpur Commodity Exchange in Malaysia dropped by 4% for the day. This was pressured by a decline in soyoil prices in Chicago by 11.4 USD/ton to 961.7 USD/ton.

- On June 4, 2024, Algeria purchased 840,000 tons of soft wheat of any origin at an average price of 279 USD/ton C&F, with delivery in August for Europe and July for South America or Australia.
