- In April, the American bank JPMorgan received permission from the US authorities to carry out operations jointly with Rosselkhozbank related to the export of agricultural products from Russia. None of the parties denies the permission, including UN representatives.
- As of April 1, 2023, grain stocks in Russia's harvesting and processing enterprises were 18,055 million tons, including wheat stocks of 12.88 million tons.

- Iraq has purchased 150,000 tons of milling wheat most likely from Australia at 387 USD/ton C&F. According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture of the country, with a production of 4 million tons, the import will be 0.6 - 1 million tons.
- Tunisia bought 75,000 tons of soft wheat of any origin with delivery within June – July and at a price of 304.80 – 311.19 USD/ton C&F.
