- In the first half of August, 560,000 tons of agricultural products were exported through the Ukrainian grain corridor. 451,481 tons of corn, 50,300 tons of sunseed meal, 41,622 tons of wheat, 11,000 tons of soybeans, 6,000 tons of sunseed oil and 2,914 tons of sunseed were exported.
- According to data from the European Commission, 3.57 million tons of wheat were exported from the EU over the period of 01.07 - 14.08.2022 (3.14 a year earlier). During the week of August 08 – 14, exports were 320,700 tonnes (609,400 a week earlier). Key buyers were Morocco with 795,600 tons (0), Algeria with 729,100 tons (550,600), Egypt with 304,500 tons (0), Pakistan with 277,400 tons (53,900) and Nigeria with 187,600 tons (0). The export of durum was 41,300 tons (30,800), including 15,100 tons for Libya, 9,000 tons for Great Britain, 7,000 tons for Tunisia and 4,500 tons for Ivory Coast.
- According to the statistics of Kazakhstan, over the period of September - July, 172,000 tons of sunseed were exported from the country, which is a record low level. In June alone, 24,000 tons of sunseed were exported (+470% compared to June 2021). The biggest customers were China with 86,800 tons, Uzbekistan with 70,000 tons and Turkey with 5,600 tons.
- According to NOPA's estimate, soybean processing in the United States in July was 4.6 million tons (4.5 in June), which is the lowest level for the previous 9 months. At the end of July, soyoil stocks in the US were 0.8 million tons (+0.1 compared to the previous year).
- Bangladesh has announced a tender for the purchase of 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin.
- Egypt's state-owned company GASC has purchased 46,000 tons of soyoil from the domestic market with prices of 1,582.70 - 1,775.97 USD/ton and delivery within October - November.
- Jordan has purchased 60,000 tons of wheat at a price of 385.50 USD/ton and delivery in February.
